Here were are with the first episode of Cognomi d’Italia. Cognomi d’Italia is an online column created by Ondanews in collaboration with the Museo del Cognome to let people discover this interesting world, its origins and spread. The first chapter is dedicated to the Garone and Sanseviero surnames.
The Museo del Cognome was born in 2012 as a one-of-a-kind place. It is located on the ground floor of a 1700 building. Its interiors show a specific didactic itinerary to learn more about genealogy. It is also the seat of a professional team led by Michele Cartusciello, genealogist and manager of the museum. The whole team offers several services in the ambit of family history research.
