On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the birth of the Museo del Cognome, Michele Cartusciello, genealogist and founder, publishes his third book “Lo Stato delle Anime del 1678 di Padula” (the 1678 Padula Stato delle Anime Census).
The Museo del Cognome was born in 2012 as a one-of-a-kind place. It is located on the ground floor of a 1700 building. Its interiors show a specific didactic itinerary to learn more about genealogy. It is also the seat of a professional team led by Michele Cartusciello, genealogist and manager of the museum. The whole team offers several services in the ambit of family history research.
