It took place last August 13, 2021 in Padula, the “traveling launch” of the books “Come si chiamava il nonno di tuo nonno?” (“Can you guess your 2nd great-grandfather’s name?“) and “Padula che vorrei“.
A great success, a mix of emotions for this initiative that livened up alleys and squares of the old town. Readings, debates, meetings helped participants to get reunited for some hours and let them forget the summer heat and enjoy some good moments.
Sharing my own story, but creating new ones to imagine a future, a dream, a wish, is essential to make connections and build bridges in a community. History, roots, and bravery are decisive.
