An unusual afternoon for the students of the Liceo Scientifico “Severi” in Castellamare di Stabia. Last April 15, a small group had the chance to discover something new, a particular museum, the Museo del Cognome.
The Museo del Cognome was born in 2012 as a one-of-a-kind place. It is located on the ground floor of a 1700 building. Its interiors show a specific didactic itinerary to learn more about genealogy. It is also the seat of a professional team led by Michele Cartusciello, genealogist and manager of the museum. The whole team offers several services in the ambit of family history research.
