Here we are with a preview of My Ancestry Comic Book: seven panels retracing the stories of my ancestors through words and drawings, plus one describing my job here at the Museo del Cognome.
My Ancestry Comic Book is a completely new idea in the world, born from the will to let public and enthusiasts live the family history in a different and creative way. Thanks to the cartoonist Emanuele Sabatino, I was finally able to make this dream real.
To those who wish to do the same, we can offer a complete service including the captions writing and the cartoon drawings in case the genealogical research has been already done. To those who do not have done it yet , we can include it in our proposal.
In the meanwhile, enjoy the comic book on my Cartusciello family.

For those who want to create a comic book with color illustrations, here there are two examples. Enjoy them!

Fantastic idea! However, I have a concern about the execution. In the example, it says Michele Casuscelli was born around 1667. However the illustrations dress Michele and his family/friends in the garb of the late 1800’s early 1900’s. Was that deliberate?
Hello Rob,
Thank you for your comment.
You are right. The illustrations were just a draft to let people see what we were talking about. Then, they have been corrected in the proper way.
